Abstract:The introduction of sustainability concepts in
engineering courses arises as a necessity and complement required
for the development of new professionals. The development of
sustainable concepts can contribute to creative thinking and the
expansion of alternative solutions to pollution, social and
economic problems of our society. This work presents some
sustainability concepts and discusses the necessity of sustainability
conceptualization on engineering courses. A Workshop to work on
this topic with students is also presented.
